Bloomberg Taps Allium to Bring Onchain Stablecoin Data to its Terminal - Yahoo Finance
Bloomberg has partnered with blockchain data provider Allium to integrate onchain stablecoin metrics into its Terminal, according to Yahoo Finance. The move brings supply, transaction, and flow data for stablecoins — digital tokens typically pegged to a fiat currency such as the dollar — directly into a platform already used widely across institutional finance.
The significance lies in distribution and visibility. Stablecoins have grown into a major segment of crypto market infrastructure, functioning as trading collateral and a settlement layer. Until now, much of that activity was tracked through specialist analytics tools. Placing this data inside the Terminal gives traditional market participants a familiar window into a market they may monitor but not yet access directly.
What to watch: whether other data vendors follow with similar integrations, and how the availability of standardized onchain metrics affects institutional engagement with stablecoin markets. The development is best read as an infrastructure and transparency story rather than a signal about prices.
